Milestones Mental Health Agency will be hosting the below training seminar. The cost is $10.00 per person. CEU's will not be applied for, however we will provide training/trainer information so that attendees can submit the information to their licensing boards for CEU approval. If interested, please reply to milestones at bellsouth.net so that we can get a count of attendees.
Training: "Play Therapy Skills and Techniques" - This workshop will provide an overview of basic skills and techniques used in play therapy settings.
Trainer : Dr. Erin M. Dugan, LPC-S (Registered Play Therapist Supervisor / LSU Health Sciences Center)
Dr. Erin Dugan is a Licensed Professional Counselor- Supervisor and a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor. In addition to her clinical work, Dr Dugan is an Asst Professor at LSU Health Sciences Center in the
Rehabilitation Counseling Dept. She specializes in children (ages 2-12), attachment disorders, and child-parent relationship therapy. She also provides counseling services to adolescents and families, offering parent training and child/parent relationship therapy classes. Dr Dugan conducts workshops and training seminars to promote play therapy to students, professionals, and the community. She has presented both
nationally and internationally at professional conferences.
