WOMEN WITH ADDICTIONS: UTILIZING EFFECTIVE GENDER SPECIFIC STRATEGIES
BY: MAYA HENNESSEY
Maya Hennessey is a national consultant and trainer on addicted women
and their families. She collaborates with treatment providers and other
systems to improve treatment access and outcomes. From 1992 - 2004 Maya
was the Women's Specialist and Supervisor of Quality Assurance,
Technical Assistance and Training for the Illinois DHS Office of
Alcoholism and Substance Abuse (OASA). Prior to her work in state
government, Maya was Director of treatment programs for women, and women
with children.
Maya Hennessey will facilitate two sessions made available FREE to the
public:
