Pre-Kindergarten to 8th grade Communities In Schools of Greater New Orleans, Inc. seeks qualified social services professional with experience working with elementary and middle-school students. The Site Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and coordinating CIS activities and programs on the campus of PK-8th grade public school. The Site Coordinator interfaces with campus personnel and coordinates school functions with the CIS program and CIS administration. The Site Coordinator will coordinate attendance tracking, and work with families to improve attendance. Site Coordinator will work with students identified as homeless, as well as those students with IEP?s to provide services they need. The Site Coordinator will serve as liaison between the school, home and community agencies. The Site Coordinator will seek resources for the school community such as volunteers, tutors, mentors, and business partners. The Site Coordinator will provide educational and psychosocial assessments, referrals, and case-management. Superior communication, organization, and team building are required.
